Relay Expansion Modules

Relay expansion modules add extra features like digital I/O (8x inputs, 4x outputs), RTD sensors (4 or 8 channels) for PT100/PT1000/NTC/PTC, 4-20mA analog I/O with PID control, and Ethernet support (Modbus TCP, Profinet).

CT Module Blocks

CT module blocks with voltage sensing up to 550Vac. Choose the right CT module for your needs (0.1A to 300A models). For higher currents or MV applications, use external CTs and VTs with the MEP0400 interposing module block.

Core Balance CTs

MEprotect offers core balance CTs (CBCT) in a range of ratings and cable window sizes. Alternatively, users can connect their own CBCTs with a 1A secondary current to MEprotect relays for flexible integration.

Graphical HMIs & Operator Terminals

MEprotect can operate fully without an HMI. For local control, monitoring or settings, two HMIs are available: a 7″ full-color touchscreen or a 3.8″ greyscale touchscreen with 4 backlight colors showing relay status. HMIs can be mounted up to 100m via Ethernet or 1000m via RS485 from the relay.

Other Accessories

Other accessories include: an external memory module for easy relay configuration transfer; an LV insulation lockout module to prevent main contactor closure on earth faults and an LV voltage converter module for measuring phase voltages above 550Vac (up to 1050Vac).
