Thanks to their properties, aluminium profiles are well suited as clamping tools, though depending on their usage they are subjects to wear. Products made of aluminium are well suited for tacking your welding assemblies. While welding we recommend to cover or, if possible, remove the aluminium profiles.
To assure a prolonged service life of your aluminium profiles, we recommend the use of an anti spatter spray (e.g. Siegmund anti spatter spray). Occasionally adhered weld spatters can be removed by grinding. Despite all precautions, it is possible that iron residues remain in the aluminium. We recommend separating the production into work areas for rusting and non rusting materials.

Siegmund Compatibility
Table Adapter
This adapter is required in order to fix square aluminium profiles without interference contours with the front side on welding tables.
The adapter can be inserted into the front of the square aluminium profiles and fixed with bolts through the holes. Then the aluminium profile can be fastened with the adapter vertically on the table or as a table extension on the table sides by using bolts.
Flush Mount Bolt
The countersunk bolt can be used to connect Siegmund aluminium profiles and other Siegmund components. The bolt head is flush with the borehole. Due to the adapted collar, this countersunk bolt is only suitable for clamping aluminium profiles.
When clamping aluminium parts, the bolts must only be tightened hand tight.
Clamp Adapter
The adapter is required for the use of screw clamps in aluminium profiles. The lower material thickness of the aluminium profiles can be compensated by using the adapter.
Connecting Bolt
For a better fitting when connecting aluminium profiles, a special flat screw is used for clamping.
When clamping aluminium parts, the bolts must only be tightened hand tight.
