LMFM Discusses the Waterford 7

Posted on الخميس 27 ربيع الأول 1431 by Admin

Brother Mujaahid discusses with Michael Reade on LMFM the issue of the Waterford 7. Some notable excerpts:

…the typical ‘guilty until proven guilty’ rule for Muslims has kicked into play with the media playing judge and jury…

…I condemn the situation that allegedly incensed seven ordinary people to allegedly conspire to take justice into their own hands…Muslims feel disenfranchised and marginalized in Irish and European society..they’ve witnessed double standards in the application of the law…in a very real sense Europe has failed Muslims…

Discussion begins at 53:40

When Non-Muslims Shame Us

Posted on الخميس 27 ربيع الأول 1431 by Admin

From a concerned brother:

salam

pls forward ot the Muslims of Ireland who could not be bothered to defend a sister that even non-Muslims in Ireland feel strongly about.

The Irish Republican Socialist Party have arranged a protest in solidarity with Dr. Aafia Siddiqui, to be held at the United States embassy in Dublin on the 27th March at 2.30pm. We would encourage all Republican, socialist and anti-war activists to attend this protest and show their opposition to the American imperialist intervention in the Middle-East and to demand a stop to the internment and torture of innocent people like Dr. Aafia Siddiqui.

What is wrong with Muslims that the Kuffar have now become the protectors of the Ummah’s most vulnerable. Where are the men who once went to war over the honour of ONE Muslim woman?

Last year we subjected ourselves to Socialists who led anti-war marches against the onslaught in Gaza, they called for a socialist Middle east while Muslims were forbidden to chant our solidarity with those fighting the aggressive occupier in our land. What is wrong with us?

It’s time to wake up and take a lead in these matters, if conscientious non-Muslims wish to come under OUR banner then they are most welcome, but it is WE who should dictate the direction of campaigns NOT them.

Axe will not save Vilks

Posted on الخميس 27 ربيع الأول 1431 by Admin

Defiant in his heavily protected hovel, with its own defence system, including a “homemade” safe room and a barbed-wire sculpture that could electrocute potential intruders, Vilks glares with an unconvincing menace toward the camera, “If something happens, I know exactly what to do,” Vilks told The Associated Press in an interview in Stockholm. Apparently he has an axe “to chop down” anyone trying to climb through the windows of his home in southern Sweden.

At 63, Vilks showpiece ‘bravado’ would be absurd if it weren’t so pitifully inadequate, for while his lauded fortifications may serve him well in this life, he, like us all will face the Most High to give an account of his deeds.

The punishment for mocking the Prophet in an Islamic state is severe, both for Muslims and non-Muslims. However the situation for those in the Hereafter is far worse.

For while the Muslim who commits the grievous sin may repent, s/he will still be subject to execution in this life – their repentance will benefit them in the Hereafter. There is no such recompense for the non-Muslim.

Allah promises that those kuffar who stoop to mockery will be cut off from every good thing in this life and in the hereafter:

“For he who hates you (O Muhammad), he will be cut off (from posterity and every good thing in this world and in the Hereafter)”
[al-Kawthar 108:3]

And while it grieves our hearts to hear our most beloved Prophet derided by course criminals, we should look on this as a sign of impending victory for Islam. As Shaikh Munajjid says:

When the Muslims besieged a stronghold and its people resisted, then they heard them mocking and reviling the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him), they would sense that victory was at hand, and it would only be a short time before Allaah granted them victory, to avenge His Messenger (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him). Al-Saarim al-Maslool (p. 116-117).

So take heart brothers and sisters, the likes of Vilks and the despicable Swedish newspapers who gloatingly reprinted his vileness are advancing their own demise, for history is replete with examples of those who mocked the Prophet eventually being destroyed and truly their loss in this life is nothing compared to the loss of the Hereafter.

O’Muslim, Victory is Near

Media Jury Casts Verdict on Waterford 7

Posted on الأربعاء 26 ربيع الأول 1431 by Admin

‘Al Qaeda sympathizers’, ‘Bin Laden fans’, ‘extremist’ – take your pic for all will be found in the press over the coming days and any chance there might have been of a fair trial has been squandered at the expense of yet another cheap shot at Muslims. Like many before them and no doubt many to come, they have been tried and convicted by a jury of Islamophobes, indoctrinated by media bias and bigotry. And even if the Waterford 7 were planning on delivering what they believed was justice, they didn’t.

The FBI and other agencies apparently worked alongside the Gardai, though we suspect far more effort was exerted on the part of the former, yet we find no such endeavor in tracking down the Jewish terror operatives who used Irish passports to plan and perpetrate the extra-judicial killing of an innocent man in Dubai. In fact this alleged plot is an extremely convenient for the Jewish State which was coming under growing pressure from the EU.

Any wonder then why Muslims in Ireland look on this media exercise as yet another attack on Islam and Muslims, an obfuscation that takes the focus off the belligerent Jewish State’s continued criminal existence and its utter disregard for international law.

New ‘Jewish State’ Law Forbids Palestinians From Showing Signs Of Sadness

Posted on الثلاثاء 25 ربيع الأول 1431 by Admin

A new law in the (admin edit:Jewish State) makes it a crime to commemorate what Palestinians call the “Nakba”, the “catastrophe” of their dispossession by the creation of the Zionist state in 1948. The Knesset, (admin edit:Jewish State)’s parliament, has passed “The Nakba Draft Law” after just one reading. Penalties will be imposed on anyone showing signs of sadness and mourning within the (undefined) borders of (admin edit:Jewish State) on 15 May; Palestinians remember on that day the creation of the refugee crisis that remains after 62 years.

Hebrew radio reported this week that the law is intended to stop people mourning on what is (admin edit: the Jewish State) Independence Day; commemorative acts are, it is claimed, tantamount to “denying the Jewish character of (admin edit:Jewish State) [and] insulting the symbols of the state”. The radio noted that the fines might amount up to three times the expenditure of commemorative programmes.

According to one commentator, it is ironic that this law has been passed at a time when (admin edit: the Jewish State) is complaining about attempts to “de-legitimise” the Zionist state. Here is an example of (admin edit: the Jewish State)’s own “de-legitimisation” of the Palestinians, their land and their culture, he said.

The thirst for Revenge – Islam’s Answer

Posted on الاثنين 24 ربيع الأول 1431 by Admin

The murder of two-year-old James Bolger in 1993 shocked the world. That two young 10-yr old boys were found guilty of the calculated and heinous crime was equally shocking. Unsurprisingly the public wanted revenge. We watched the news clips of the vans transporting the young murderers to trial being accosted by mobs, who summarily beat upon the sides of the vans. As one writer stated, ‘What exactly would those hammering on the side of their transport vans have done had they managed to get to them? Strung them up from the nearest lamp post?’

After serving eight years, both murderers were released in June 2001 with new identities – the fear of a vigilante reprisal was very real. Venables has since being recalled having violated the conditions of his parole. Public sentiment is very mixed.

The desire for justice is a strong natural instinct, we want to see adequate and just reparations for crime. Slapping a rapist on the wrist by giving him a couple of years isn’t justice – many feel that a cushy number in a prison with all mod-cons simply doesn’t deliver the deserved punishment for those who would rob a woman of her honour. Hiding the names of convicted pedophiles who prey on innocent children and rob them of innocence is simply ludicrous and failing to administer the harshest possible punishment for the crime of murder is simply inexcusable.

In Islam, both boys would have been detained until they reached an age of responsibility/accountability (in legal terms). Then the Bolger family would have been given the opportunity to exact retribution either through the death penalty or diya’a (blood money). They would also have the option of showing mercy and freeing the boys – the point is, the family who have suffered the loss have the right of revenge and it is theirs and theirs alone. This is justice! It offers the family of the victim closure in a way that no western system ever could.

Niqab Ban Breaches Privacy: EU Rights Chief

Posted on الاثنين 24 ربيع الأول 1431 by Admin

A ban on face-veil would violate individual privacy rights and alienate Muslim women, the European rights chief has warned, urging politicians to promote understanding of different cultures.

“A general ban on such attires would constitute an ill-advised invasion of individual privacy,” Thomas Hammarberg, the Council of Europe Commissioner for Human Rights, said in a statement.

Last January, a French parliamentary panel recommended slapping a partial ban on face-veils in public institutions.

Similar debates are also heating up in Italy, Denmark, Netherlands and Germany.

Hammarberg said a ban might breach the European Convention on Human Rights, which allows limitations on human rights only on the grounds of public health, safety or morals.

“Those who have argued for a general ban of the burqa and the niqab have not managed to show that these garments in any way undermine democracy, public safety, order or morals,” he insisted.

“The fact that a very small number of women wears such clothing has made proposals in such a direction even less convincing.”

The Council of Europe was founded in 1949 to protect human rights and democracy in the continent.

It has 47 members who have signed the European Convention on Human Rights.

Counterproductive

The European rights chief said a ban would be counterproductive rather than helpful for Muslim women.

“Prohibition of the burqa and the niqab would not liberate oppressed women, but might instead lead to their further alienation in European societies,” he warned.

“The suggestion to ban the presence of women dressed in the burqa/niqab in public institutions like hospitals or government offices may only result in these women avoiding such places entirely.”

Hammarberg said media interviews have shown that the majority of the niqab-clad women have taken the decision by their own volition and would not welcome a ban.

“There may of course be cases where they are under undue pressure – but it is not shown that a ban would be welcomed by these women.”

While hijab is an obligatory code of dress for Muslim women, the majority of Muslim scholars agree that a woman is not obliged to wear the face-veil.

Scholars believe it is up to women to decide whether to take on the veil or burqa.

Hammarberg cautioned that subjecting Islam and Muslim-related issues to public debates in many European countries risks playing into the hands of extremists.

“Some of the arguments have been clearly Islamophobic and that has certainly not built bridges or encouraged dialogue.”

He insisted that instead of imposing new dress codes on their citizens, European states would be better advised to launch debates on understanding of different cultures.

“Attempts should be made to broaden the discourse to cover essential matters, including how to promote understanding of different religions, cultures and customs.”

Source: IslamOnline

MPAC.ie Comment: While we thank Mr Hammarberg for his comments, we would encourage Muslim women across Europe to defy any attempted ban by continuing to wear the niqab. Yielding to majority whims of the kuffar is not the Muslim way, and we need to unite on this issue so that any attempts to enforce a ban are met with stiff resistance.

There’s nothing in our book, the Quran — you call it ‘Ko-ran’ — that teaches us to suffer peacefully. Our religion teaches us to be intelligent. Be peaceful, be courteous, obey the law, respect everyone; but if someone puts his hand on you, send him to the cemetery. That’s a good religion.”

Another Christian Crusade Against Muslims

Posted on الاثنين 24 ربيع الأول 1431 by Admin

Nigeria, once a thriving multifaith society has been ravaged in recent years by religious strife and tension, a Christian mob’s massacre of Muslims in Jos last January highlighted the growing discord between these once peaceable communities.

Many believe the presence of fundamentalist Christian missionaries from the US are the catalyst for this latest wave of worldwide attacks on Muslims and Islam and there certainly seems to be some credence to the story.

One Pentecostal evangelist outlines part of the strategy:

‘Brethren, may I tell you that the strategy we are going to use to win Nigeria has to be the strategy of an invading army. …They take over the media, the radio, the television stations, they convince the rich people, the businessmen, they get the students, they get backings, because when they take over it is the market women and the students they will tell ‘come and demonstrate it if you are in support.’ If you want to take over Nigeria you better win the students, win the market women, the media, the broadcasters, the rich, the poor and the press.’

At least he doesn’t mince his words, and quite correctly labels the Christian crusaders as an ‘invading army’. For that is what they are.Christian fundamentalists have also been accused of destroying ancient artifacts in their desire to purge all anti-Christian elements from Nigeria, no mention in the news of this ‘crime’ though.

If anyone is oblivious to the threat of militant Christianity, then take a look at these videos on how the fundamentalist Christian west is grooming its youth for a future Armageddon, while Muslims sleep:

Irish ‘Sharia Law’ website gets 270,000 hits a month – Sunday Tribune

Posted on الأحد 23 ربيع الأول 1431 by Admin

An Irish Islamic website which argues for the introduction of Sharia law here and extols the benefits of Islamic rules for women claims to have had over 270,000 hits last month alone.

Targeted at what is called Irish “O’Muslims”, the Muslim Public Affairs Council website. www.mpac.ie also warns readers about the dangers of imitating the Kuffar (non-believers in Islam).

In one article entitled ’21st Century Ireland – A man’s world’, the author notes that a woman may not need a man to take care of her but asks ‘would it not be nice?’ to have someone to provide for her. ‘Instead of constantly trying to be better-looking than all the other girls in the club…instead of trying to impress a different bloke every weekend, is it not nicer to have that special someone,’ it asks. ‘Someone who will always think you’re the best looking girl, that you have the best hair, and that really doesn’t want you wearing as little clothes as possible because its not nice for you to be so cold. Is that not better?’

A separate post examining whether introducing Sharia law is a patriotic duty suggests that an “O’Muslim” has a ‘duty as a citizen of Ireland to work for its best interests’. ‘And who could doubt that establishing the authority of Allah in the land is in the best interests of Ireland?’, it asks. ‘To remove injustice and establish fairness, to remove moral degradation, immorality and licentiousness and establish propriety, righteousness and restraint and to establish tawheed (the worship of the Only One worthy of worship) are surely noble Islamic aims.’

The website – which says all content is screened by moderators in advance of being posted online – last week carried references to the fact that ‘victory is near’ because wars are bankrupting America and described the recent crucifixion of a pedophile and murderer in Saudi Arabia as ‘justice’.

MPAC spokesman Liam Egan, who goes by the name Mujaahid, said the independent website was not affiliated with the Irish Council of Imams or any other Muslim organization here and was run by a ‘volunteer group of indigenous Muslims’. ‘From a religious perspective we believe we represent a mainstream Islamic position…considering the specific content and its limited relevancy (a minority group in Ireland) we have witnessed an exponential rise in site hits, last month we had 269,733,’ he told the Sunday Tribune.

Geert Wilders is right: Shariah and Democracy are Incompatible

Posted on الجمعة 21 ربيع الأول 1431 by Admin

Rarely do we find anything agreeable with the likes of Geert Wilders, but his latest statement has a semblance of truth, democracy most certainly in not compatible with the Divine Shariah, and how could it be?

Democracy as a system of government in the first instance is a farce, and we all know it. No government implements laws that are not in its best interests. The needs of the ordinary people are only given credence when election time looms and promises made are quickly forgotten. In short, democracy is a man-made catastrophe, that keeps an capitalist elite in power at the expense of the ordinary man and woman. It subjugates the will of a minority to the whims of the majority and bases legislation on relativistic principles that condemn one day and praise the next.

The Divine Shariah is nothing like this. It is rooted firmly in the immutable text of the Quran and Sunnah, what was deemed wrong 1430yrs ago is still wrong today, majority whims do not take precedence. In opposition to the capitalist system based on riba’a, the Shariah rallies against this unjust exploitation of poverty and installs a system that address the needs of the people without recourse to illegitimate measures.

Notwithstanding the sycophantic whinging of so-called Uncle Tom Muslims who attempt to draw parallels, the scholars of this Ummah are firm on this issue – there is no compatibility; for what fellowship has light with darkness?

For more on this important topic, please listen to:

Democracy in Light of the Quran and Sunnah

Understanding Democracy and its ruling in the Shari’ah.

Alhamdu Lillah. Was Salaatu Was Salaam ‘Ala Rasulillah wa Ba’d.

What is democracy and why it is contradictory to Islam?

In these times many Muslims advocate and participate in the democratic process. They see it as a way to obtain human rights and freedom without bloodshed. It also allows one to choose whomsoever they think can bring about benefit for the Muslims.

Before participating or promoting a slogan or an action it is necessary to know exactly what it is. Allah ta’ala said in his book:

“And do not say what you have no knowledge about.”

And also Imam Al Bukhari said in his authentic collection of narrations: “Chapter: Knowledge comes before statements and actions.” It is upon a Muslim to have knowledge (proofs and evidences)before saying, doing or promoting any activity. Also, it is upon him not to blindfollow anyone in matters of the religion. Allah said in his book: “They took their scholars and monks as dieties other than Allah.” And as narrated from Ibn Abbas “I fear that stones fall upon you from the sky, I say the Messenger said and you say Abu Bakr and Umar said?”

What is Democracy?

In order to understand what it is we must look at its origins, its revival and what political scientists themselves have to say about this system.

The basic idea of democracy is self-rule: the word itself comes from the Greek demokratia, meaning rule by the people (Breslin, Hague, Harrop, 20). And it should be noted that the Western Democracies are not Direct Democracies which allow all people to participate in legislative decisions. Rather what is practiced in the Western World is called a liberal democracy where decisions are made by elected politicians who stand for the people (representative government) (Breslin, Hague, Harrop, 21). In other words popular choice determines who the elected officials are and the elected officials decide which policies should and should not be carried out. The citizen therefore doesn’t make any decisions but rather he is reduced to the role of deciding who should make decisions for him. As I would say: Democracy is in reality a popular autocracy meaning that the majority, through their choice, impose their views upon others. and no doubt this is unfair and from injustice.

Democracy unlawful in Islam

From the previous paragraph it is obvious that democracy is an unlawful system of government according to Islam for the following reasons:

(1) Policies and decisions in Islam are determined by the book of Allah and the Sunnah of the Messenger . Allah ta’ala said:

“And if you disagree about anything then its ruling is with Allah.”

And Allah said:

” if you disagree about something return it to the Allah and the Messenger.”

And Allah has said:

“The Rulership is only for Allah.”

And Allah has said:

“Do you see the ones who believe that they believe in what has been sent to you and to those before you and they wish to put their rulings to the Taghuut and they were ordered to disbelieve in it and Shaitaan wants to lead them far astray”

And also Allah has said:

“And whomsoever rules by other than what has revealed they have disbelieved (meaning the one who makes it Halaal, or the same as the Shari’ah or better than the Shari’ah).”

And the verses and ahadeeth dealing with this are many.

In contrast, policies and decisions in a democracy is left up to elected officials in the parliaments whether it corresponds with the book of Allah or not. And these elected officials are voted by the majority. And Allah has said:

“And if you follow most of the people on the earth you would go astray.” And he said: “And you would not find most of them believing in Allah except that he is Mushrik.”

And Allah has praised small numbers as he has said in his book:

“And few of my servants are thankful.”

(2) It is the way of the Kuffar. And it has been proven that democracy is a product of Ancient Greece and Western Europe And there are many Ahadeeth that show that it is prohibited to imitate the Non-Muslims. The Prophet said: “Whomsoever imitates a people is of them.” He also said in a Hadeeth that is narrated in Saheeh Al Bukhari: “You will follow the ways of others, handspan by handspan, until if they were to go into a lizard’s hole you would follow them.” The companions asked: “The Persians and the Romans.” He said: “Who else?”

It is important to remember that Democracy is a Shi’aar or an outward manifestation or system of Western-European nations. And the United States of America in particular preach this form of government in order to obtain sovereignty over nations economically and politically to the point that Woodrow Wilson who was the 16th President of the United States saw himself as morally responsible to spread democracy throughout Latin American nations. And if they didn’t approve American warships would land on their shores.(Dookan, 53)

Similarly, Barack Obama on his website has explicitly stated that if Cuba would like America to take steps to stop the economic embargo, called ‘el bloqueo’ in Spaninsh, then Cuba would have to become democratized (www.barakobama.com: 17/04/09).

Let not one get the idea that I am a supporter of communism since communism requires submission to the nation state. However, what I am trying to show is that instead of Western European nations and the United States claiming lands for the cross, in this day and age they claim lands in the name of democracy.

As for the religion of Islam, one neither submits to the state nor the majority rather one submits to the book of Allah and the Sunnah of the Messenger . As Allah has said:

“And do not die except in a state of Islam.”

And he said:

“Enter Islam wholeheartedly.”

And he said:

“And repent to Allah and submit to him.”

(3) Democracy is a system of injustice as it imposes the view of the majority upon the minority. As for Islam the will of Allah, which governs the universe, governs the system by which mankind lives. And Allah is far removed from oppresion and injustice. Allah has said in his book:

“Verily Allah does not oppress even a mustard seed.”

And he said:

“And your Lord is not oppresive to his servants.”

As is narrated in a Hadeeth Qudsi: “Oh my worshippers I have prevented oppresion upon myself and I have prevented it upon others, therefore do not oppress each other.”

(4) It opens the door to evil and indecency: And Allah has said:

“Verily Allah prevents you from indecent deeds…”

and Allah has said:

“Say: Allah does not order indecency.”

And there are many verses in terms of this. as for democracy it opens the door to fornication, homosexuality and other social ills in the name of freedom and justice for all.

(5) Democracy does not truly guarantee human rights: Rather the rights of citizens are determined by elected officials and the majority who vote these officials. As for Islam there are five major rights of man that the Shariah covers:

(1) The protection of the religion.

(2) The protection of the individual

(3) The protection of one’s intellect.

(4) The right to know one’s descendants.

(5) The right to the protection of one’s wealth (Sayyid Saabiq, 2)

As for Democracy it calls for other than this. It doesn’t protect the religion of Islam as one can worship whomsoever he wishes and even call to the worship of himself. As for the protection of one’s intellect Islam prevents anything that can harm the intellect. As for a democracy one can damage his intellect however he wishes through alcohol usage or drug abuse as occurs in Holand. Also, Islam guarantess the right to know one’s descendants and to this point it has legislated plural marriage and stoning the man and the woman who commit adultery in marriage. As for democracy this right is not fully guaranteed.

(6) It makes everyone the same in deciding upon a government. Hence the righteous and the evil, the straight and the homosexual, the sane and the crazy, the Muslim and the Non-Muslim are the same. And Allah has said: “Do you make the Muslims like the oppressors? ” And also it makes man and woman the same in electing officials when one witness of a man is equal to a woman’s according to the Shari’ah. And when Allah said: “And a man is not like a woman.”

And there are other reasons as to why it contradicts Islam directly. And to this point Ash Shaikh Muqbil said: “Democracy is Kufr because the people are ruled by the people.”
