Geert Wilders is right: Shariah and Democracy are Incompatible

Posted on الجمعة 21 ربيع الأول 1431 by Admin

Rarely do we find anything agreeable with the likes of Geert Wilders, but his latest statement has a semblance of truth, democracy most certainly in not compatible with the Divine Shariah, and how could it be?

Democracy as a system of government in the first instance is a farce, and we all know it. No government implements laws that are not in its best interests. The needs of the ordinary people are only given credence when election time looms and promises made are quickly forgotten. In short, democracy is a man-made catastrophe, that keeps an capitalist elite in power at the expense of the ordinary man and woman. It subjugates the will of a minority to the whims of the majority and bases legislation on relativistic principles that condemn one day and praise the next.

The Divine Shariah is nothing like this. It is rooted firmly in the immutable text of the Quran and Sunnah, what was deemed wrong 1430yrs ago is still wrong today, majority whims do not take precedence. In opposition to the capitalist system based on riba’a, the Shariah rallies against this unjust exploitation of poverty and installs a system that address the needs of the people without recourse to illegitimate measures.

Notwithstanding the sycophantic whinging of so-called Uncle Tom Muslims who attempt to draw parallels, the scholars of this Ummah are firm on this issue – there is no compatibility; for what fellowship has light with darkness?

For more on this important topic, please listen to:

Democracy in Light of the Quran and Sunnah

Understanding Democracy and its ruling in the Shari’ah.

Alhamdu Lillah. Was Salaatu Was Salaam ‘Ala Rasulillah wa Ba’d.

What is democracy and why it is contradictory to Islam?

In these times many Muslims advocate and participate in the democratic process. They see it as a way to obtain human rights and freedom without bloodshed. It also allows one to choose whomsoever they think can bring about benefit for the Muslims.

Before participating or promoting a slogan or an action it is necessary to know exactly what it is. Allah ta’ala said in his book:

“And do not say what you have no knowledge about.”

And also Imam Al Bukhari said in his authentic collection of narrations: “Chapter: Knowledge comes before statements and actions.” It is upon a Muslim to have knowledge (proofs and evidences)before saying, doing or promoting any activity. Also, it is upon him not to blindfollow anyone in matters of the religion. Allah said in his book: “They took their scholars and monks as dieties other than Allah.” And as narrated from Ibn Abbas “I fear that stones fall upon you from the sky, I say the Messenger said and you say Abu Bakr and Umar said?”

What is Democracy?

In order to understand what it is we must look at its origins, its revival and what political scientists themselves have to say about this system.

The basic idea of democracy is self-rule: the word itself comes from the Greek demokratia, meaning rule by the people (Breslin, Hague, Harrop, 20). And it should be noted that the Western Democracies are not Direct Democracies which allow all people to participate in legislative decisions. Rather what is practiced in the Western World is called a liberal democracy where decisions are made by elected politicians who stand for the people (representative government) (Breslin, Hague, Harrop, 21). In other words popular choice determines who the elected officials are and the elected officials decide which policies should and should not be carried out. The citizen therefore doesn’t make any decisions but rather he is reduced to the role of deciding who should make decisions for him. As I would say: Democracy is in reality a popular autocracy meaning that the majority, through their choice, impose their views upon others. and no doubt this is unfair and from injustice.

Democracy unlawful in Islam

From the previous paragraph it is obvious that democracy is an unlawful system of government according to Islam for the following reasons:

(1) Policies and decisions in Islam are determined by the book of Allah and the Sunnah of the Messenger . Allah ta’ala said:

“And if you disagree about anything then its ruling is with Allah.”

And Allah said:

” if you disagree about something return it to the Allah and the Messenger.”

And Allah has said:

“The Rulership is only for Allah.”

And Allah has said:

“Do you see the ones who believe that they believe in what has been sent to you and to those before you and they wish to put their rulings to the Taghuut and they were ordered to disbelieve in it and Shaitaan wants to lead them far astray”

And also Allah has said:

“And whomsoever rules by other than what has revealed they have disbelieved (meaning the one who makes it Halaal, or the same as the Shari’ah or better than the Shari’ah).”

And the verses and ahadeeth dealing with this are many.

In contrast, policies and decisions in a democracy is left up to elected officials in the parliaments whether it corresponds with the book of Allah or not. And these elected officials are voted by the majority. And Allah has said:

“And if you follow most of the people on the earth you would go astray.” And he said: “And you would not find most of them believing in Allah except that he is Mushrik.”

And Allah has praised small numbers as he has said in his book:

“And few of my servants are thankful.”

(2) It is the way of the Kuffar. And it has been proven that democracy is a product of Ancient Greece and Western Europe And there are many Ahadeeth that show that it is prohibited to imitate the Non-Muslims. The Prophet said: “Whomsoever imitates a people is of them.” He also said in a Hadeeth that is narrated in Saheeh Al Bukhari: “You will follow the ways of others, handspan by handspan, until if they were to go into a lizard’s hole you would follow them.” The companions asked: “The Persians and the Romans.” He said: “Who else?”

It is important to remember that Democracy is a Shi’aar or an outward manifestation or system of Western-European nations. And the United States of America in particular preach this form of government in order to obtain sovereignty over nations economically and politically to the point that Woodrow Wilson who was the 16th President of the United States saw himself as morally responsible to spread democracy throughout Latin American nations. And if they didn’t approve American warships would land on their shores.(Dookan, 53)

Similarly, Barack Obama on his website has explicitly stated that if Cuba would like America to take steps to stop the economic embargo, called ‘el bloqueo’ in Spaninsh, then Cuba would have to become democratized (www.barakobama.com: 17/04/09).

Let not one get the idea that I am a supporter of communism since communism requires submission to the nation state. However, what I am trying to show is that instead of Western European nations and the United States claiming lands for the cross, in this day and age they claim lands in the name of democracy.

As for the religion of Islam, one neither submits to the state nor the majority rather one submits to the book of Allah and the Sunnah of the Messenger . As Allah has said:

“And do not die except in a state of Islam.”

And he said:

“Enter Islam wholeheartedly.”

And he said:

“And repent to Allah and submit to him.”

(3) Democracy is a system of injustice as it imposes the view of the majority upon the minority. As for Islam the will of Allah, which governs the universe, governs the system by which mankind lives. And Allah is far removed from oppresion and injustice. Allah has said in his book:

“Verily Allah does not oppress even a mustard seed.”

And he said:

“And your Lord is not oppresive to his servants.”

As is narrated in a Hadeeth Qudsi: “Oh my worshippers I have prevented oppresion upon myself and I have prevented it upon others, therefore do not oppress each other.”

(4) It opens the door to evil and indecency: And Allah has said:

“Verily Allah prevents you from indecent deeds…”

and Allah has said:

“Say: Allah does not order indecency.”

And there are many verses in terms of this. as for democracy it opens the door to fornication, homosexuality and other social ills in the name of freedom and justice for all.

(5) Democracy does not truly guarantee human rights: Rather the rights of citizens are determined by elected officials and the majority who vote these officials. As for Islam there are five major rights of man that the Shariah covers:

(1) The protection of the religion.

(2) The protection of the individual

(3) The protection of one’s intellect.

(4) The right to know one’s descendants.

(5) The right to the protection of one’s wealth (Sayyid Saabiq, 2)

As for Democracy it calls for other than this. It doesn’t protect the religion of Islam as one can worship whomsoever he wishes and even call to the worship of himself. As for the protection of one’s intellect Islam prevents anything that can harm the intellect. As for a democracy one can damage his intellect however he wishes through alcohol usage or drug abuse as occurs in Holand. Also, Islam guarantess the right to know one’s descendants and to this point it has legislated plural marriage and stoning the man and the woman who commit adultery in marriage. As for democracy this right is not fully guaranteed.

(6) It makes everyone the same in deciding upon a government. Hence the righteous and the evil, the straight and the homosexual, the sane and the crazy, the Muslim and the Non-Muslim are the same. And Allah has said: “Do you make the Muslims like the oppressors? ” And also it makes man and woman the same in electing officials when one witness of a man is equal to a woman’s according to the Shari’ah. And when Allah said: “And a man is not like a woman.”

And there are other reasons as to why it contradicts Islam directly. And to this point Ash Shaikh Muqbil said: “Democracy is Kufr because the people are ruled by the people.”

Damned if You Do, and Damned if You Don’t – Why Bother?

Posted on الأحد 15 ربيع الأول 1431 by Admin

The recent heavy sentencing of Muslim protesters in the demonstrations against the Gaza war last year have, as Seumas Milne demonstrates, set a dangerous precedent by demonizing Muslims who perhaps mistakenly choose the democratic route for change. And as he correctly states:

attempts to drive …….. Muslims out of normal political activity, and the refusal to confront anti-Muslim hatred, can only ratchet up the danger and threaten us all.

Even here in Ireland, attempts by MPAC.ie to encourage political activation on the part of Muslims has been met with claims of subversion by certain TDs. Robert Spencer and his cohorts deem ANY political activity on the part of Muslims as a ’stealth jihad’. It seems that despite all the talk of inclusion in the political process, encouragement to air grievances legitimately through the ballot etc, there are still many who do not want Muslims involved in any aspect of public life, and the sentiment is quickly gaining ground. The unjustified and unprovoked attack on the Islamic Forum of Europe is ample proof that the west does not want Muslims to become politically active.

Muslims have never seen democracy, only hypocrisy

The problem as Milne points out is when you remove the option for change through legitimate means (within a western framework) you disincentivise a growing demographic and inculcate other means of seeking redress. History demonstrates that exclusion does little to enhance safety and cohesion – it is a threat to us all.

Jewish Conference Applauds Calls for Palestinian Genocide by Harvard Fellow

Posted on الخميس 12 ربيع الأول 1431 by Admin

A fellow at Harvard University’s Weatherhead Center for International Affairs, Martin Kramer, has called for “the West” to take measures to curb the births of Palestinians, a proposal that appears to meet the international legal definition of a call for genocide.

Kramer, who is also a fellow at the influential Washington Institute for Near East Policy (WINEP), made the call early this month in a speech at Israel’s Herzliya conference, a video of which is posted on his blog (“Superfluous young men,” February 7, 2010).

In the speech Kramer rejected common views that Islamist “radicalization” is caused by US policies such as support for Israel, or propping up despotic dictatorships, and stated that it was inherent in the demography of Muslim societies such as Yemen, Iraq, Afghanistan and the Israeli-occupied Gaza Strip. Too many children, he argued, lead to too many “superfluous young men” who then become violent radicals.

Kramer proposed that the number of Palestinian children born in the Gaza Strip should be deliberately curbed, and alleged that this would “happen faster if the West stops providing pro-natal subsidies to Palestinians with refugee status.”

Due to the Israeli blockade, the vast majority of Palestinians in Gaza are now dependent on UN food aid. Neither the UN, nor any other agencies, provide Palestinians with specifically “pro-natal subsidies.”

Kramer appeared to be equating any humanitarian assistance at all with inducement for Palestinians to reproduce.

He added, “Israel’s present sanctions on Gaza have a political aim — undermine the Hamas regime — but if they also break Gaza’s runaway population growth, and there is some evidence that they have, that might begin to crack the culture of martyrdom which demands a constant supply of superfluous young men.” This, he claimed, would be treating the issue of radicalization “at its root.”

The 1948 UN Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide, created in the wake of the Nazi holocaust, defines genocide to include measures “intended to prevent births within” a specific “national, ethnic, racial or religious group.”

The Weatherhead Center at Harvard describes itself as “the largest international research center within Harvard University’s Faculty of Arts and Sciences.” In addition to his positions at Harvard and WINEP, Kramer is “president-designate” of Shalem College in Jerusalem, a far-right Zionist institution that aspires to be the “College of the Jewish People.”

Pro-Israel speakers from the United States often participate in the Herzliya conference, an influential annual gathering of Israel’s political and military establishment. This year’s conference was also addressed by The New York Times columnist Thomas Friedman and, in a first for a Palestinian official, by Salam Fayyad, appointed prime minister of the Ramallah-based Palestinian Authority.

Kramer’s call to prevent Palestinian births reflects a long-standing Israeli and Zionist concern about a so-called “demographic threat” to Israel, as Palestinians are on the verge of outnumbering Israeli Jews within Israel, and the occupied Palestinian territories combined.

Such extreme racist views have been aired at the Herzliya conference in the past. In 2003, for example, Dr. Yitzhak Ravid, an Israeli government armaments expert, called on Israel to “implement a stringent policy of family planning in relation to its Muslim population,” a reference to the 1.5 million Palestinian citizens of Israel.

Imam Ibn Jareer At-Tabaree (d. 310H):

“Allah ta’ala says, whoever conceals the Hukm of Allah, which He revealed in His Book and made it a law between the slaves – so he hides it and rules with other than it like the Hukm of the Jews concerning the married fornicators with whipping of the guilty and blackening their faces and concealing the Hukm of stoning and like their judging upon some of their murdered with full blood-money and some with half of their blood-money. And concerning the noble people, they would have Qisaas but the commoner would only get the blood money. But Allah made all of them equal in the Tauraat: …such are the Kafirun. They are the ones who concealed the truth, which was upon them to uncover and make clear. And they hid it from the people and they showed something different to the people and they judged according to that (changed Hukm) because of a bribe they took from them.” – “Tafseer Al-Tabaree”, Vol. 4/592.

Frankly Mr Prime Minister, ‘We don’t give a damn’

Posted on الاثنين 20 محرم 1431 by Admin

Gordon Brown has stated in the last hour that a planned march through the Wooton Bassett grieving point for dead British terrorists and their families would be ‘inappropriate’.

Absent from this warmonger’s list of inappropriate actions were:
1. going to war in the first place,
2. The continued occupation and subjugation of Muslims by British and American terrorist forces
3. the offence and outrage caused daily to the Muslim populace as they learn of the increasing number of indiscriminate murders carried out by British and American terrorists

We uphold the right of Muslims to protest the continued injustices being perpetrated upon Muslims under the banner of your so-called democracy; we uphold the right of Muslims to reciprocate the offense and outrage the kuffar seem to have no reservations in administering daily toward Muslims through their wars, massacres and occupations. We uphold the right of Muslims to draw attention to your inhumanity toward man.

The British and other governments are going to have to learn to respect the views of all their citizens and until they do, then marches like those that are planned for Wooton Bassett must take place. As for appropriacy, frankly Prime Minister, we don’t give a damn.

One UK blogger writes:

For all the talk of the merits of whether or not it’s right that Anjem Choudary’s mob should be allowed to march through Wooten Basset The Akh wants to know where is the self righteous media who extol the virtues of respecting the dead, but fall deafeningly silent to speak about the dead of Afghanistan, and I hasten to add those killed in Iraq.

Where’s the processions for all those who have died in the illegal wars launched since 2001?

All we hear is of the dead British troops, but not one single mention of the deaths of the indigenous Afghans since the beginning of operation ‘panthers claw’.

Why is that?

The British and Americans, like the Russians before them, are seen as a foreign occupying force.

The media toe the government line and will not report on the deaths of Afghan civilians, as this will harm the “war effort” back home.

Nothing has been achieved in Afghanistan, and Britain’s mission could last for up to 40 years according to General Sir David Richards.

Don’t people understand that by killing more people, all you are doing is motivating the next generation to take up arms.

Am I the only one who refuses to trade in humanity for patriotism?

If you throw a stone at every barking dog…

Posted on الأحد 19 محرم 1431 by Admin

MPAC.ie comes under attack from many quarters, from so-called Muslims who want to prove themselves to their kuffar masters, to kuffar who are incensed at our fortitude in the face of growing opposition.

Take for example this site, which seems to have an issue with Muslims actually defending themselves against invading armies. Or this imbecile who has the gall to blame Muslims for the massacre of Muslims because, in his words:

‘The moral responsibility for all deaths in Iraq since 2003 lies with those Muslims who turned to violence to resist the introduction of democracy.’

Then there’s the putrid unsubstantiated claims of incitement to hatred leveled at us, we however think the kuffar do a good enough job of inciting hatred against themselves without our help. Take for example this little bit of news that you won’t hear on Sky. But as the imbecilic Mark Humphrys would say ‘the moral responsibility …lies with Muslims who turned to violence to resist the introduction of democracy’. I wonder when Shariah dominates the landscape will he be singing the same tune?

We could waste our precious time responding to every fool who chooses to write about us, but as the old saying goes, ‘if you throw a stone at every barking dog, soon rocks will be worth their weight in gold’.

The Prophet spoke of a time when practicing Islam in the way he and his righteous companions did would be like holding onto a hot coal. If you are not experiencing the heat O’Muslims, then you’re not following the way of the Prophet. You can choose the path of silence and sycophancy like those who claim to represent you and in fifty years time you’ll be no better off. Or you can choose the path of the Rasool, speak out for the truth and grasp the coal – the choice is yours.

Extremism in Islam – A Double-Edged Sword

Posted on الأربعاء 16 ذو الحجة 1430 by Admin

The Prophet said: “Beware of extremism, for indeed the only thing that has destroyed those who came before you is extremism.”

Extremism in religion is to exceed the limits of its legislated boundaries. It could be in worship, such as the three men, one of whom said: ‘I will stand the whole night in prayer and not sleep.’ The second said: ‘I will fast continuously not missing one day without fasting.’ The third said: ‘I will not marry.’

Extremism can also be in rulings; such as making something that is recommended an obligation, or being extreme in the ruling of one who practices a major sin that is less than polytheism by declaring him to be a disbeliever who has left the fold of Islaam.

Extremism can be in ordering the good and forbidding the evil, such as the extremism practiced by the Mu’tazillah in the form of revolting against the rulers with the excuse of ordering good and forbidding evil as justification.

Extremism is also in declaring something permissible to be impermissible, or declaring something impermissible to be permissible.

Extremism in religion in all its forms is prohibited, it may cause the individual to exist the fold of Islaam or cause destruction, as it destroyed those who came before us, and no person who has been given understanding and foresight by Allaah in rulings and in placing things in the rightful place can doubt this.

However, there are people whose state is the exact opposite of the extremism of exceeding the limits in the religion, there are those who went to extremes in lenience and indulgence. There is no doubt that our religion is the religion of lenience, ease and justness, but this lenience must be within the legislated boundary, by acting upon the legislated permits when needed, and all the religion, and to Allaah belongs all praise, is free of hardship and restrictions.

Shaykh Saalih ibn Fowzaan al-Fowzaan

When we consider extremism, we often have in mind the kuffar (mis)understanding of the issue, for they would never castigate a lax Muslim or one who did their bidding. Rather they and unfortunately a number of Muslims reserve their wrath for those who go to what the kuffar deem extreme. More often than not though, this will include the temerity of actually fighting back against oppression and occupation.

While the extremism that unduly and illegitimately causes harm to life and limb is to be shunned and condemned, the other end of the spectrum is equally if not more dangerous – that of extreme liberalism. This type of extremism seeks to rob Islam of its distinctness, to dilute its teachings and subjugate its followers to the will of the kuffar.

This type of extremism raises the banner of liberalism and democracy while castigating the Caliphate and Shariah, it subverts Islamic law in favour of so-called human rights, it takes as its example the kuffar, willfully and wholeheartedly imitating kufr while criticizing Muslims who seek to follow the Prophet. They are wolves in sheep’s clothing, silver-tongued devils who seek to ‘improve upon’, under the guidance of their kuffar masters, the Islam that the Prophet left us with – their arrogance and insolence knows no bounds.

Therefore, brothers and sisters beware, we have entered a time when people fear man more than their Lord and seek the pleasure of the dunya rather the hereafter. The allegiance of the liberal is not with the Muslims, rather he has sold his soul to the Shaitan and inshaAllah will reap his just rewards in the hereafter.

Here’s a little test to expose the extreme liberal:

1. Ask him/her if democracy or Shariah is better and what they are doing to institute it
2. Ask him/her about Jihad and the right of defence
3. Ask him/her about homosexuality and its condemnation
4. Ask him/her about the obligation of hijab/beard/raising the garments above the ankle, etc
5. Ask him/her about the separation between religion and state
6. Ask him/her about polygamy
7. Ask him/her about sexual relations outside the confines of marriage
8. Ask him/her about the hudood (penal system) and its application
9. Ask him/her about the role of women and leadership

Of course there are so many more, but these are the few that the liberal extremist will take issue with, though remember they speak with a forked tongue and like hypocrites wear a face to suit the situation – takiyyah takes on a whole new life with the extreme liberal devils.

A Curse on Anyone Who Seeks to Institute Western Democracy in Saudi Arabia

Posted on الخميس 09 ذو الحجة 1430 by Admin

MEMRI is reporting that a Saudi prince has come out against the moves toward a western style of democracy in the Kingdom. What follows are excerpts from an interview that MEMRI allege the prince gave to Saudi daily Al Watan. If this is true it is most welcome news and hopefully signals a halt on ‘reforms’ that many feel threaten the Islamic fabric of Saudi Arabia.

“Democracy according to their interpretation [that is, that of the Arab reformists] is a Western social regime that works for the interests of the majority, under many protections and conditions, in order [to enable] political stability, development and advancement, as well as reduced corruption, poverty and hunger, and freedom of expression. This freedom is always plastered like a placard on the wall of democracy – in [full] knowledge that Plato called it the rule of the people for itself and by itself.

“Most unfortunately, some of the Arab media mouthpieces are trumpeting [democracy] as a means of [progress], forgetting that democracy’s principles include that of separation of religion and state. They enslave the term [i.e. democracy] to their own twisted interests, and to their prattling that gives their listeners a headache.

“Have the owners of these mouthpieces [i.e. the Arab media] forgotten that Islam laid out an order that is incompatible with foreign ideology, and that it is a sound and pure religion – and that the respect for the individual in Islam… is supreme? [Have they forgotten that Islam] is the best source for the appropriate freedom and for [ideals of] humanity, and that it is the best protector of mankind?

“Those who hasten to endorse the Western ‘openness’ – whose arrows appear gentle but [carry] a fatal load – have they forgotten our principles and our clarity? Have [these people] not noticed that the West is always marketing democracy as a secular and civil system, not a religious [system]? [Struck by] waves of political Alzheimer’s, they keep telling us that Islam is not democratic.

“A curse on anyone who wants to enforce this demo-khratiyya on all political and constitutional issues. A curse on all those dictatorships that masquerade as demo-khratiyya in order to destroy what they define as third-world countries!

“It should be remembered that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is the Custodian of the Two Holy Places, and that the sons or residents of the homeland have never been denied their rights. Our country’s structure is perfect [thanks to] Islam, which has established the [concept of] shura [i.e consultation] and the protection of rights, freedom, justice and anything [else] of value, as laid down by this generous religion.”

“Members of the Arab and Muslim media are miserly when it comes to highlighting this Islamic freedom, and do not present our just Islamic system. Let us be more mature than these ideas, that lead a divisive and cheap style aimed at dividing the country into factions and groups.

“How can we be indifferent to the fact that the various Arab media are replete with booby-trapped imported ideas?! Not to mention the perversion represented by video clips or [soap operas], which some people look forward to more than the month of Ramadan itself so that they can enjoy the garbage of those artists, marketers, and actors. All this is aimed at dismantling religious obligation, under the slogan of democracy.

“…Most of our Arab media platforms [are filled with] sensationalism, exchange of insults, debauchery, agitation, fitna [i.e. civil strife], perversion, and reactionism. We read amazing things written by some [Saudi] writers, in which the term ‘the Saudis’ is used in a generalizing manner to include anything disgraceful, and anything that crosses red lines.

“These writers need an ideological bloodletting in order to remove [their] corrupt ideas. They must be taught not to generalize like ignoramuses.

“Oh my country, rush to glory and grandeur by having your sons cling to Islam, Arabness, and Saudiness!”

Revoking Citizenship for exercising free speech!

Posted on الخميس 05 ذو القعدة 1430 by Admin

Revelations that a self-styled ‘cleric’ sent hate mail to the widows of brutal occupation soldiers in Australia has prompted the Prime Minister to consider whether Australia’s immigration laws should be changed to allow citizenship to be revoked in such cases.

But what is being contested here? The fact that a person harassed some war widows or that the individual in question was not supportive of the war of terror? Is Judd actually proposing that a lack of agreement with the war of occupation is grounds for the revoking of citizenship? What of the democratic right to dissent, to voice opposition and to contest action that is clearly not in the public interest.

Similar threats were made when another Australian cleric had the audacity to point out the widely held belief that there is a link between lewd dress, licentious behaviour and the preponderance of rape. It seems the hypocrisy of democracy knows no bounds – particularly with regard to its Muslim citizenry.
