I have had such a positive couple of days with Mitsubishi in the offices of the Benelux branch for the biennial MAPS expert group meeting.

So what is MAPS?

MAPS is Mitsubishi’s SCADA and advanced HMI system. Quite simply wherever visualisation, logging or control is a necessity MAPS has a solution. MAPS is a 64-bit SCADA system designed for process control, manufacturing systems and open automation applications. MAPS version 4 once again places MAPS at the forefront of the SCADA/HMI market. It reinforces the claim that MAPS is one of the most open, advanced and scalable SCADA platforms on the market. But to me as a systems integrator for Mitsubishi Electric, MAPS is much more than that. MAPS is a team of people so dedicated to the evolution and success of the product that boundaries simply don’t exist. To be able to work so closely with the team behind the product is both an honour and a pleasure. Looking at projects from all around Europe one common factor remains consistent, there is a dedicated team committed and ready to support the product, the integrators and the end customer to ensure that they get the best SCADA solution on the market for their applications. We’re looking forward to doing some more MAPS projects in Ireland in the near future
