Comments Policy

MPAC.ie is not responsible for comments posted on the site by our readers.

We will however do our best to remove or edit posts which contravene the Shariah in relation to:

• racism
• prejudicial or discriminatory statements
• libel, personal abuse and insults
• swearing
• references to illegal activities
• requests for pirated software or serial numbers
• incitement of hatred or violence

Comments containing any of the above will be considered to be in breach of the Comments Policy. Repeat violators will be banned.

In addition, comments that are “off topic” will also be considered a breach of the Policy.

Reader comments posted at MPAC.ie are the opinion of the comment writer, not MPAC.ie.

Comments that make false or unsubstantiated allegations will not be published, nor will comments that contain potentially-libellous statements. Comments that use hearsay or are based on reports where the supposed fact or quote is not a matter of public knowledge also may not be permitted. Please note that while MPAC.ie members regularly monitor comments, the sheer volume of traffic on the site means that we don’t always manage to read every post. If you discover a comment which you believe to contravene the guidelines set out above, please use the contact form to alert us.

MPAC.ie reserves the right to withhold from publication comments that are deemed to be spam or unrelated to the article at which they are posted. Comments that include personal attacks on other people at MPAC.ie may also be withheld from publication.
