LMFM Discusses the Waterford 7

Posted on الخميس 27 ربيع الأول 1431 by Admin

Brother Mujaahid discusses with Michael Reade on LMFM the issue of the Waterford 7. Some notable excerpts:

…the typical ‘guilty until proven guilty’ rule for Muslims has kicked into play with the media playing judge and jury…

…I condemn the situation that allegedly incensed seven ordinary people to allegedly conspire to take justice into their own hands…Muslims feel disenfranchised and marginalized in Irish and European society..they’ve witnessed double standards in the application of the law…in a very real sense Europe has failed Muslims…

Discussion begins at 53:40

When Non-Muslims Shame Us

Posted on الخميس 27 ربيع الأول 1431 by Admin

From a concerned brother:

salam

pls forward ot the Muslims of Ireland who could not be bothered to defend a sister that even non-Muslims in Ireland feel strongly about.

The Irish Republican Socialist Party have arranged a protest in solidarity with Dr. Aafia Siddiqui, to be held at the United States embassy in Dublin on the 27th March at 2.30pm. We would encourage all Republican, socialist and anti-war activists to attend this protest and show their opposition to the American imperialist intervention in the Middle-East and to demand a stop to the internment and torture of innocent people like Dr. Aafia Siddiqui.

What is wrong with Muslims that the Kuffar have now become the protectors of the Ummah’s most vulnerable. Where are the men who once went to war over the honour of ONE Muslim woman?

Last year we subjected ourselves to Socialists who led anti-war marches against the onslaught in Gaza, they called for a socialist Middle east while Muslims were forbidden to chant our solidarity with those fighting the aggressive occupier in our land. What is wrong with us?

It’s time to wake up and take a lead in these matters, if conscientious non-Muslims wish to come under OUR banner then they are most welcome, but it is WE who should dictate the direction of campaigns NOT them.

Axe will not save Vilks

Posted on الخميس 27 ربيع الأول 1431 by Admin

Defiant in his heavily protected hovel, with its own defence system, including a “homemade” safe room and a barbed-wire sculpture that could electrocute potential intruders, Vilks glares with an unconvincing menace toward the camera, “If something happens, I know exactly what to do,” Vilks told The Associated Press in an interview in Stockholm. Apparently he has an axe “to chop down” anyone trying to climb through the windows of his home in southern Sweden.

At 63, Vilks showpiece ‘bravado’ would be absurd if it weren’t so pitifully inadequate, for while his lauded fortifications may serve him well in this life, he, like us all will face the Most High to give an account of his deeds.

The punishment for mocking the Prophet in an Islamic state is severe, both for Muslims and non-Muslims. However the situation for those in the Hereafter is far worse.

For while the Muslim who commits the grievous sin may repent, s/he will still be subject to execution in this life – their repentance will benefit them in the Hereafter. There is no such recompense for the non-Muslim.

Allah promises that those kuffar who stoop to mockery will be cut off from every good thing in this life and in the hereafter:

“For he who hates you (O Muhammad), he will be cut off (from posterity and every good thing in this world and in the Hereafter)”
[al-Kawthar 108:3]

And while it grieves our hearts to hear our most beloved Prophet derided by course criminals, we should look on this as a sign of impending victory for Islam. As Shaikh Munajjid says:

When the Muslims besieged a stronghold and its people resisted, then they heard them mocking and reviling the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him), they would sense that victory was at hand, and it would only be a short time before Allaah granted them victory, to avenge His Messenger (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him). Al-Saarim al-Maslool (p. 116-117).

So take heart brothers and sisters, the likes of Vilks and the despicable Swedish newspapers who gloatingly reprinted his vileness are advancing their own demise, for history is replete with examples of those who mocked the Prophet eventually being destroyed and truly their loss in this life is nothing compared to the loss of the Hereafter.

O’Muslim, Victory is Near

Media Jury Casts Verdict on Waterford 7

Posted on الأربعاء 26 ربيع الأول 1431 by Admin

‘Al Qaeda sympathizers’, ‘Bin Laden fans’, ‘extremist’ – take your pic for all will be found in the press over the coming days and any chance there might have been of a fair trial has been squandered at the expense of yet another cheap shot at Muslims. Like many before them and no doubt many to come, they have been tried and convicted by a jury of Islamophobes, indoctrinated by media bias and bigotry. And even if the Waterford 7 were planning on delivering what they believed was justice, they didn’t.

The FBI and other agencies apparently worked alongside the Gardai, though we suspect far more effort was exerted on the part of the former, yet we find no such endeavor in tracking down the Jewish terror operatives who used Irish passports to plan and perpetrate the extra-judicial killing of an innocent man in Dubai. In fact this alleged plot is an extremely convenient for the Jewish State which was coming under growing pressure from the EU.

Any wonder then why Muslims in Ireland look on this media exercise as yet another attack on Islam and Muslims, an obfuscation that takes the focus off the belligerent Jewish State’s continued criminal existence and its utter disregard for international law.

Chickens coming home to roost?

Posted on الثلاثاء 25 ربيع الأول 1431 by Admin

RTE News is reporting the arrest of seven people in both Cork and Waterford over an alleged plot to kill the cartoonist who disgustingly dishonored the Prophet Muhammad.

This morning, detectives arrested three men and two women in Waterford and Tramore and another man and woman at Ballincollig, near Cork city. A number of searches also took place. A garda spokesman said the operation was part of an investigation into a conspiracy to murder an individual in another jurisdiction.

Typically Islamophobes on Irish discussion boards have been all over the story, gleefully gloating over the prospects that Ireland might finally have witnessed its first case of alleged Islamic ‘terrorism’. Similar news a few years back of an alleged bomb-maker in an asylum hotel encouraged similar responses regarding Muslims and immigration.

If true, this incident should not be viewed in isolation but part and parcel of the bigger picture of oppression being meted out against Muslims. The cartoons as despicable and condemnable as they are, were but the icing on the cake, so to say. Muslims have witnessed their sons and daughters, brothers and sisters, mothers and fathers slaughtered on the alter of democracy, colonization, occupation and so-called freedom. They have seen their holy prophet denigrated and Islam castigated under the guise of freedom of speech and they are glibly expected to be good little Muslims and just accept being slapped in the face?

Inevitably there are those who will say enough is enough, naturally there are those who will act – for what righteous man can endure such shame? It wasn’t expected of the Irish under British rule, why should Muslims be held to a higher bar?

As Irish Muslims we encourage the Irish ummah to unite and fight this onslaught against the honour of our Prophet, the sanctity of Islam and dignity of Muslims – but we encourage our brethren to use the legitimate means available in this land to fight to achieve that aim. The fight in Ireland is ideological, we should reciprocate in like manner.

Saudi lawyers have successfully brought charges against a paper for publishing the filthy cartoons, which demonstrates that good lawyers can achieve some benefit. Muslims should pool their monetary resources and seek charges against all those who would dishonour the Prophet and Islam. A few high profile cases and inevitable wins would ensure that those who seek to denigrate are suitably deterred.

Another Christian Crusade Against Muslims

Posted on الاثنين 24 ربيع الأول 1431 by Admin

Nigeria, once a thriving multifaith society has been ravaged in recent years by religious strife and tension, a Christian mob’s massacre of Muslims in Jos last January highlighted the growing discord between these once peaceable communities.

Many believe the presence of fundamentalist Christian missionaries from the US are the catalyst for this latest wave of worldwide attacks on Muslims and Islam and there certainly seems to be some credence to the story.

One Pentecostal evangelist outlines part of the strategy:

‘Brethren, may I tell you that the strategy we are going to use to win Nigeria has to be the strategy of an invading army. …They take over the media, the radio, the television stations, they convince the rich people, the businessmen, they get the students, they get backings, because when they take over it is the market women and the students they will tell ‘come and demonstrate it if you are in support.’ If you want to take over Nigeria you better win the students, win the market women, the media, the broadcasters, the rich, the poor and the press.’

At least he doesn’t mince his words, and quite correctly labels the Christian crusaders as an ‘invading army’. For that is what they are.Christian fundamentalists have also been accused of destroying ancient artifacts in their desire to purge all anti-Christian elements from Nigeria, no mention in the news of this ‘crime’ though.

If anyone is oblivious to the threat of militant Christianity, then take a look at these videos on how the fundamentalist Christian west is grooming its youth for a future Armageddon, while Muslims sleep:

Irish ‘Sharia Law’ website gets 270,000 hits a month – Sunday Tribune

Posted on الأحد 23 ربيع الأول 1431 by Admin

An Irish Islamic website which argues for the introduction of Sharia law here and extols the benefits of Islamic rules for women claims to have had over 270,000 hits last month alone.

Targeted at what is called Irish “O’Muslims”, the Muslim Public Affairs Council website. www.mpac.ie also warns readers about the dangers of imitating the Kuffar (non-believers in Islam).

In one article entitled ’21st Century Ireland – A man’s world’, the author notes that a woman may not need a man to take care of her but asks ‘would it not be nice?’ to have someone to provide for her. ‘Instead of constantly trying to be better-looking than all the other girls in the club…instead of trying to impress a different bloke every weekend, is it not nicer to have that special someone,’ it asks. ‘Someone who will always think you’re the best looking girl, that you have the best hair, and that really doesn’t want you wearing as little clothes as possible because its not nice for you to be so cold. Is that not better?’

A separate post examining whether introducing Sharia law is a patriotic duty suggests that an “O’Muslim” has a ‘duty as a citizen of Ireland to work for its best interests’. ‘And who could doubt that establishing the authority of Allah in the land is in the best interests of Ireland?’, it asks. ‘To remove injustice and establish fairness, to remove moral degradation, immorality and licentiousness and establish propriety, righteousness and restraint and to establish tawheed (the worship of the Only One worthy of worship) are surely noble Islamic aims.’

The website – which says all content is screened by moderators in advance of being posted online – last week carried references to the fact that ‘victory is near’ because wars are bankrupting America and described the recent crucifixion of a pedophile and murderer in Saudi Arabia as ‘justice’.

MPAC spokesman Liam Egan, who goes by the name Mujaahid, said the independent website was not affiliated with the Irish Council of Imams or any other Muslim organization here and was run by a ‘volunteer group of indigenous Muslims’. ‘From a religious perspective we believe we represent a mainstream Islamic position…considering the specific content and its limited relevancy (a minority group in Ireland) we have witnessed an exponential rise in site hits, last month we had 269,733,’ he told the Sunday Tribune.

Thank You Minister Martin

Posted on السبت 22 ربيع الأول 1431 by Admin

Ireland’s foreign minister on Friday called the (Admin edit: Jewish state)… blockade of Palestinian-ruled Gaza inhumane and unacceptable and he urged the European Union and other countries to increase pressure on Israel to end it.

Micheal Martin, who visited Gaza last week, was the first EU foreign minister to enter the Mediterranean coastal strip in over a year, an area that was severely damaged in a… (Admin edit: Jewish state) offensive in December 2008.

More than 1,400 Palestinians and 13 Israelis were killed in the three-week war in Gaza, which (the)(Admin edit: Jewish state) launched following months of rocket fire from the territory into (the)(Admin edit: Jewish state).

“The tragedy of Gaza is that it is fast in danger of becoming a tolerated humanitarian crisis,” Martin wrote in an opinion piece for the International Herald Tribune, describing conditions as medieval, inhumane and utterly unacceptable.

“(It is) a situation that is proving extremely difficult to remedy or ameliorate due to the blockade and the wider ramifications of efforts to try and achieve political progress in the Middle East.”

He will raise the issue at a EU foreign ministers meeting in Cordoba, Spain, this weekend, he said. The EU Commission and EU member states are the largest aid donors to Gaza.

A United Nations report by a team headed by South African jurist Richard Goldstone last September said that both the Israeli army and Islamist group Hamas, which controls Gaza, were guilty of war crimes in them conflict but focused more on the(Admin edit: Jewish state). (The)(Admin edit: Jewish state) which refused to cooperate with the Goldstone report, condemned it as distorted and biased and rejected the war crimes allegations. Hamas denied its fighters committed war crimes but has said it regrets (Admin edit: Jewish state) civilian deaths.

The United States pressed (the)(Admin edit: Jewish state)to ease the blockade last week and Martin said with 80 percent of the population of Gaza now living below the poverty line and over 50 percent out of work, the blockade was counterproductive.

“What I witnessed in Gaza, amidst all the rubble and devastation, was a population traumatized and reduced to poverty by an unjust and completely counterproductive blockade.”

Hospital was right to remove statue

Posted on السبت 22 ربيع الأول 1431 by Admin

A statue purporting to be of the Christ (albeit a very European portrayal) has been removed from a hospital in Co. Kerry and local priests and politicians are none too pleased. The HSE said yesterday it took down the large red and white statue of Christ at Killarney Community Hospital “for health and safety reasons”, claiming it posed a threat due to deterioration from weathering, but some suspect other reasons, with one politician saying it was ‘political correctness gone mad’.

An HSE spokesman yesterday did concede that a bid to accommodate other beliefs amid a changing culture in Killarney had also underlined the removal of some of the many religious artifacts in the hospital.Source

In a country that boasts religious pluralism and government neutrality in such matters, it is important that public institutions such as hospitals, schools etc are not seen to be proffering one ideology or religion over another, and that includes secularism. The prominence of this statue, placed externally to the front façade of the building, clearly called into question the alleged nonpartisan spirit of government backed/funded institutions. It is for this reason we commend the HSE’s decision to remove the statue from its place of prominence for relocation elsewhere in the hospital.

He who rejects change is the architect of decay. The only human institution which rejects progress is the cemetery. ~Harold Wilson

Perhaps, the Killarney skyline will now witness a new feature that truly reflects the diversity of New Ireland.

Labour Calls for Freezing of Relations with Jewish State

Posted on الخميس 20 ربيع الأول 1431 by Admin

In a priority European Parliament question tabled to the European Commission, Proinsias De Rossa MEP said the almost-certain abuse by Mossad of Irish and other European passports in the murder of Mahmoud al-Mabhouh in Dubai on 20th January necessitated a halt to the upgrading of relations with Israel and a full review of the 2004 EU legislation aimed at preventing the forgery and abuse of Member States’ passports.*

Mr De Rossa said: “The misuse of Irish and other EU Member States’ passports in this crime should not divert attention from Israel’s murder of Mahmoud al-Mabhouh, its brutal assault on Gaza last year, causing the deaths of hundreds of civilians including over 300 children, and its continuing blockade of 1.5 million people in Gaza – all of which are clear demonstrations of Israel’s continuing disregard for international law.

“The murder of Mahmoud al-Mabhouh, a leading Hamas militant, raises ‘profoundly disturbing’ issues for Europe as the EU Foreign Ministers acknowledged in their 22nd February statement.

“The European Union is committed under the Lisbon Treaty to providing its citizens with ‘an area of freedom, security and justice’. However the use of forged European passports in the Dubai crime undermines that commitment and casts doubt on the security of all European passports and on the ability of all Europeans to travel in safety worldwide. Indeed, while the theft was a direct attack on the sovereignty of the four Member States concerned and of Australia, the sovereignty of all Member States is at risk unless Israel is obliged to comply with International law.

“Europe has to urgently review all aspects of its relations with Israel and put on hold any further upgrading of EU-Israeli relations until Israel complies in all respects with its obligations under international law and its commitments under EU-Israel agreements.

“In their 22nd February statement, the 27 EU Foreign Ministers sought to reassure all Europeans that their passports remain among the most secure in the world and included a ‘range of physical security measure to prevent forgery and abuse’. “The simple fact is that the protections offered by this legislation seem to have failed in this case. The European Commission must therefore undertake an immediate and full review of all the provisions and the implementation at national level of this legislation and present proposals to MEPs and Ministers to re-establish the integrity of European passports.”
